More about Trevor!

When he was a kid, Trevor began boxing. "It kept me centered," he said reciently in an interview.  He fought for several years in Australia and England. He moved to LA in 1986 after meeting a US promoter while training in England.  The knockout of ex-world middle weight champion, Nigel Bern, was the highlight of his career.  His boxing career turned out a 60 amateur and pro bouts for 59 win.

In 1991, he was married to aerobics instructor Ruthann McCarthy, whom he met at the Hollywood YMCA.  They were married in Taos, New Mexico.

Trevor's career has only escalated since he was "discovered" by an advertising company who put him in a commercial for Budweiser.  He has spent time on stage in LA and London since then.  For his role in "The Cock and Bull Story" at Fountainhead Theatre in LA, he was awarded the LA Drama Critics Best Performance, the LA Dramalogue, and LA Weekly Best Performances awards.

After 14 years of living here in the states, when asked how he felt about it, he replied "I love America.  I love LA, wouldn't trade it for the world!"

Trevor is not afraid to admit that he has had a rough past.  He takes time out to talk to kids and urges them not to make the same mistakes he did.

In a recient interview, Trevor said, "I was in reform school.  Still am in reform school in 'JAG'! For a car theft and grievous bodily harm and assult on a couple of policemen and a security guard - for which I am not proud of to this day.  I was 14 years old.  In fact, that is why I try to take time out to talk to troubled kids adn try, if I can, to just put them on the right path.  If I can help just one person, that will be a win situation for me."

Ruthann, Trevor's wife, says "He urges the underpriviledged kids he spars with not to be limited by their background and to shoot for their dreams."  He also goes to preschools and reads fairy-tales to the kids, but, "he goes off on a tangent and makes things up," so says his wife.
